Dry and crisp.  Domaine Sautereau is a small estate that produces high quality Sancerre. Situated in the village of Crézancy 7km from the town of Sancerre, this 18 hectares estate has been producing Sancerres for nine generations. Winemaker David Sautereau uses a blend of age-old practices and modern techniques to show the terroir characteristics of Sancerre at their best.

VINIFICATION
A cool fermentation ensures a particularly pure, fruity style while 3 months on the lees provide extra complexity and richness. The wines are stored in stainless steel vats and bottled 6 months after the harvest for extra freshness.
TASTING
White gold, silver highlights.
Baron
Nose: An open nose, with a good varietal profile leading to notes of boxwood, rhubarb, melon and fruity aromas of pear and mango.
Mouth: Supple in the first instance, the vine shows good volume in the middle of the mouth with fruity and floral accents. The aromatics of mirabelle plum linger long.
